Buried: Bath Ab­bey.

After prac­tic­ing as a phy­si­cian, Haweis at­tend­ed Christ’s Coll­ege, Cam­bridge, then took Ho­ly Or­ders. He be­came as­sist­ant preach­er with Mar­tin Ma­dan at the Lock Hos­pi­tal, Ald­wink­le, North­amp­ton­shire, Eng­land. He was al­so chap­lain to La­dy Hunt­ing­don’s cha­pel at Bath, Eng­land, and Rec­tor at All Saints’ Church in Ald­wink­le, North­amp­ton­shire. His works in­clude:
