Thomas Haweis
Born: January 1, 1734, Redruth, Cornwall.
Died: February 11, 1820, Bath, Somersetshire, England.
Buried: Bath Abbey.
After practicing as a physician, Haweis attended Christ’s College, Cambridge, then took Holy Orders. He became assistant preacher with Martin Madan at the Lock Hospital, Aldwinkle, Northamptonshire, England. He was also chaplain to Lady Huntingdon’s chapel at Bath, England, and Rector at All Saints’ Church in Aldwinkle, Northamptonshire. His works include:
